What is Circuit Riders Rising?

Circuit Riders Rising is a family on a mission to trumpet the message of devotion to Jesus and stir the spirit of evangelism in America. What was once a beacon of hope for the world, America is now in need of missionaries itself. We are gathering leaders, churches, and the body of Christ to cast a fresh vision and hope for our nation. The spirit of revival is alive and well and Christ in us is the hope of glory!

Our Personal Tour Guide

The word I was first given in my walk with the Lord was “secret place”. Jesus gave us this term in Matthew 6:6 as He described the secret life of prayer for His disciples. Now ten years later whether it’s called “secret place” or just “intimacy with God” it can be summed up in one…

Goose Feathers, Colonel Littleton, and Devotional Revolution

Earlier this year, my Circuit Rider brothers and me spent a day riding bikes through D.C.  I’ve been there a few times before but I made some new discoveries on that trip that have stuck with me.  For example, I didn’t know that America’s Third President, Thomas Jefferson, was not just a brilliant philosopher, inventor,…

Fatherless In The Name of Ministry

We are witnessing a fatherless epidemic in this generation. The stats for fatherlessness in homes is outrageous, but the impact it is having on our kids is even worse. 63% of youth suicides are from fatherless homes 80% of rapists with anger problems are from fatherless homes 75% of adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers…

What Is Devotion? Podcast

Sit on the front porch with Mark Casto and Matt Pettry as they discuss “what is devotion?” I don’t think anyone has THE answer, but we are on the journey of discovery. There is a call coming from our Apostle, Damon Thompson, and through our family in Carolina Revival for a devotional revolution. God has…

Take A Risk On A Whisper

We know from the biblical account of the life of Elijah that God’s voice was not in the earthquake or the whirlwind. But he found the voice of God in a still small voice. This is what we call the whispers of God, the inward witness, beyond the conscious and from the Spirit within. I…

Preparing For Radical Change – Part 1

Announcement: Radical change is happening. There is no doubt that a new reformation has begun in the body of Christ. New things are being declared and encountered, fresh blueprints are emerging, and new wineskins are being formed. What is being brought forth is not new to the church just new to this generation. God is…

Willing to Be Misunderstood?

Five hundred years ago a young man, Martin Luther, nailed the “95 theses” on the door of a church hoping to start a conversation but instead caused a reformation. He was sick of the systems of men and the religion that kept people from knowing Jesus intimately. And once again, we are in the infancy…

Youth In Revival

Trying to put my thoughts about youth in revival is like trying to put the water of the earth in a bathtub. It’s just too vast and immeasurable to make it all fit in a nice and neat package, but there are some things that i’ve learned along the way that are indicators of what…

Ascend Camp 2016 Recap Video

225 students came from 15 different states for five days of encountering the Lord in Marengo, OH. This had been a vision in our hearts for sometime. If we are going to see a turnaround in this nation it begins by empowering this generation with the gospel and authentic encounters with the Holy Spirit. The…

The Feeling is Mutual

The Feeling is Mutual When you hear things like, “Seek my Face continually…” (Ps. 105:4), “Men should always pray and never stop…” (Lk 18:1), “Pray in the Spirit always…” (Eph. 6:18), and “Pray without ceasing…” (1 Thess. 5:17), do you hear a call to dutiful discipline or do you hear the voice of someone longing…
